Strategy for the Two-Wheel and Three-Wheel Electric Vehicle Sector

Does anyone know of a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund that specializes in the two- and three-wheeled electric vehicle industry? I don’t mean a fund that concentrates on the established and up-and-coming firms in the EV or autonomous car industry, which may also happen to include 2 and 3 wheel makers.

Hardly any companies are focusing on that, let alone enough to form an ETF.

There are very few companies concentrating on that area, and certainly not enough to form an ETF.

There are not enough companies solely focused on that niche to create an ETF. You can invest in individual companies, but most don’t exclusively deal with 2-3 wheeled vehicles, and many will remain private.

If you are interested in growth, consider investing in battery or battery tech companies instead, as advancements in lithium-ion technology are driving improvements in performance and cost-effectiveness.

The one prominent name that comes to mind, Arcimoto, has lost around 99.99% of its value, and I don’t think there are enough of them in the public domain to fill an ETF.

Many of the relevant companies may still be privately held, but this is starting to shift. For instance, OLA Electric recently IPOed on the BSE and NSE in India and now has a market cap exceeding $5.5 billion USD. Established players like Honda and Harley Davidson are also active in this space.

Publications like The Economist have been covering the sector’s growth for over two decades. My interest lies in the belief that this is an emerging industry poised for significant growth, and I feel it’s better to enter early before it fully takes off.
