Nope, it’s a three-year hold. And the 7% is a back-end fee when you sell. They don’t exactly advertise that. RH is one of the pricier platforms out there.

People need to see past their anger about certain things.

Robinhood did a lot of good by pushing $0 trades, which everyone else now does too. Their transfer-in bonuses are pretty solid compared to old-school brokerages. But yeah, the gamification of investing is concerning, especially for new users who get into risky options or margin trading. And for more experienced investors, their lack of tax lot management is a major downside. They aren’t some shady company, though. If people are still mad at Robinhood over the GME stuff, they probably shouldn’t be trading anyway.

I actually thought the 1% deposit boost had been around for a while, but turns out it only started in May :skull:
